Worship with Jaime Jamgochian
A couple of weeks ago, Tara and I had the opportunity to set sail on the Girl’s Getaway Cruise. It was quite the interesting trip, complete with a delayed start and destination change, but SUCH a cool experience. I know (and totally agree) that we need to be in the world (though not of it) in order to really show Christ’s love and win others to Him. But I have to say, it was such a cool feeling to know that wherever we went, whomever we sat with or talked to, we were in the company of Sisters. Seriously…just so cool. But I digress. One of my most favorite things about the trip was getting to wake up and have an hour of praise and worship every single morning, led by the fabulous Jaime Jamgochian. Yall…this girl is *seriously* talented and has such a beautiful heart. After Jaime’s first performance, she had a boat FULL of women that just wanted to meet her and talk to her and get to know her. I never once saw her without a crowd of girl’s around her. And the coolest part was, it was Jaime asking the girls questions about their lives. She genuinely wanted to know them, know their stories. Just so flippin’ cool in my book
Anyways, here’s a video of Jaime leading worship our last full day on the ship. She’s covering Laura Story’s single “Mighty To Save” which, coincidentally, has been at the top of my playlist for the last month. Hope you enjoy! Love yall
P.S. Apologies for the shaky video…one of the stabilizers on the boat was broken. But that’s a story for another day
“Shine your light and let the whole world see, we’re singing for the glory of the Risen King.”
